Founded in 1985, Guangdong Provincial Improved Variety Introduce Service Corp.(the company is noted as “GLseed” below) was one of the earliest corporations nation-wide granted both import and export licenses in the seed sector by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. Since then, with the continued support and guidance from all levels of government, GLseed has grown to currently import more than 3000 agricultural products across 30 countries and regions (including USA, the Netherlands, Israel, Japan, Korea, South-East Asian countries, and Taiwan and Hong Kong regions). These products cover a diverse spectrum, of which include agricultural,forestry, livestock, fishery, fruits, vegetable, flowers, animals and planting. Such wide multi-industrial coverage has helped the company lead a great improvement in agricultural products structure reconstruction nation-wide, and drive a huge contribution to the development of agricultural industrialisation.

GLseed has registered capital of RMB30 million, with its core business focused on seed and related operations, such as horticultural crops with vegetables and flowers, hybrid sweet corn and hybrid rice. Further more our auxiliary offerings include feed materials, agrochemicals and associated products, farm equipments and projects,and other products-related services, involving import and export agencies, technology trade, etc. Seed services are the company's core business and we are viewed as the industry leader with the vegetable seed sector within China.
